Opportunities to serve:

Food Closet

The Food Closet is an outreach ministry to those in the Pasadena area who need help supplementing their food supply. The Food Closet is open twice a month for 2 hours on the first and third Monday of the month from 9:30 am - 11 am. Volunteers do intake and put the food items we collect on Sundays into bags to give to those who come on Monday mornings.  If you can help once a month, or even once every other month, it would be a wonderful way to minister to those in need who live in our community.  If you would like to be a part of this ministry, email pascov1@pasadenacovenant.com.

Bad Weather Shelter

Pasadena Covenant hosts the Bad Weather Shelter for the homeless of Pasadena. The shelter is weather activated between late November and April. To determine if the shelter is open, call after 12pm to (818) 915-8111.

The shelter is sponsored by The Ecumenical Council of Pasadena Area Churches (ECPAC) and is served by many volunteers from area churches.  You may contact ECPAC at (626) 797-2402, ECPAC@Prodigy.net, or www.ecpac.net for more information to assist this important way to care for the homeless in our community.

Elizabeth House

Elizabeth House is a shelter for homeless women and their children. Located in Pasadena, California, Elizabeth House provides a safe home, support and hope for women who find themselves pregnant and in a time of crisis.
