the Scriptures
The Alpha Course—a
thoughtful and practical introduction to the Christian faith; especially
helpful for non-churchgoers and new Christians.
Confirmation: "The Journey"—a
2-year journey for 7th - 9th grade students (and older) exploring who God is and
what God means in their lives. This class takes students on a journey
into God's story in the Old Testament, the New Testament, and beyond ("His
story" of the early church through today). For more information

Journey With Jesus—for
those interested in learning more about Pasadena Covenant Church, our shared
vision and core-values, our leadership team; especially helpful for those
new to Pasadena Covenant and those desiring to explore church membership.
Sunday Morning Classes—an
important place of community as groups of all ages from 2 years old through
adult gather to seek God through study of scripture, sharing of faith
stories, and learning to serve together. Classes meet at 9:00 on Sunday
mornings.
Pray and Practice the Spiritual
Disciplines
Centrality of Prayer—a
multigenerational team of people that meets monthly to pray for our
church, and to discern God’s leading regarding current and future
prayer ministries. This ministry team also leads and coordinates
prayer ministries at our church, including prayer partners, prayer
services, prayer shawls, and retreats.
Companions in Christ—intentional
spiritual formation groups of 8-14 adults who meet weekly to practice
spiritual habits of prayer, scripture meditation, journaling, holy
listening, and spiritual companionship; especially helpful for Christians
seeking a deeper experience of the presence of God in daily life.
Live in Relationship with Others
Congregational Life—The
Congregational Life Committee sponsors regular fellowship events for
the entire church family-- visitors, old timers, and everyone in
between. You are most welcome to attend any of our events. Upcoming
events are posted on the calendar on this website and are also
announced in church newsletters and Sunday bulletins.
Koinonia—is
a group of mostly older adults who gather monthly to fellowship
together over a meal; to praise God for His work in our lives and to
support each other in prayer. We generally meet the first Sunday
evening of each month. We enjoy several social activities each year
which include day trips; movie/pizza nights; concerts; visits to
museums and camping trips. For more information contact
pascov1@pasadenacovenant.com.
Singles & Friends—
Singles & Friends provides times of fellowship
and fun for adults. We particularly welcome single adults, single
parents and their children, and couples without children. We join
together about once a month to enjoy each other and the many great
experiences Los Angeles has to offer. For more information
Sr. High Youth Group—a
chance for Sr. High students (9th-12th grade) to hang out with friends and
take a break from the pressures of the week. At youth group we get to know
each other better through group activities, learn about faith in the real
world, and talk to each other about the issues we face in day-to-day life.

Youth Small Groups—several
different age-based small groups for students in 7th-12th grade that meet
throughout the week. The purpose of these groups is to learn how to
share about what is really going on in our lives in a safe environment.
This is a place where students come together and encourage each other, and
get to know a trusted adult friend.
